Considering Suicide?
But this is what I needed someone to tell me, and this is what I'm going to tell you: if you have a plan to commit suicide call 911 now. When you call 911, I promise they will get you the help you need. I ask you to search your most secretive of secret places where you'll find you've been asking for help all along. Even if you believe you haven't that secret place, Just Call 911 anyway. When you call them, honestly tell them what's on your mind; tell them you feel like ending your life; tell them you have a plan to end your life. Do this before you think about anything else. Please call now. Please call 911.
If you're considering suicide, but don't have an actual plan to carry it out (or even if you do) you can call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. If you're a veteran, you can call the Veterans Crisis Line at 988 and select 1 to start a confidential Veterans chat. Either way, just call. Someone is there who desperately wants to talk to you. That word "talk." This whole blog is about using words as a means to find something more out of life. I am also always suggesting you write these words, but right now is the time to talk. Right now you need to use your words to talk and find more. So call, talk, and use your words to find more, please.

You need to know right now at this very moment and in this very place, your family and friends love you. Most tenderly and compassionately I ask you to consider for just a minute: if you commit suicide, what will the family and friends you've left behind to pick up the pieces do when they find you've been inexplicably taken away from them? What will they be left to think when they try to figure out what they could have done differently to prevent you from committing suicide? Will they be left to blame themselves? Yes, these are hard questions and my hope based on the Light of love is that these questions will help you want to call the numbers above. As I always say, you're not alone; I love you; I'm proud of you, and I see your Light. Please call.
