Embracing the Light
Hello, Points of Light! While darkness may be a choice, it isn't the best one. Light, as the superior choice, offers the happiness and freedom our hearts crave, akin to the happy freedom found in the simplicity of nature's wide-open spaces. Here, immersed in the present moment of nature, we naturally find ourselves smiling. And so, a smile becomes a treasure beyond measure, more precious than gold.

Choosing Light to Paint with Colors
If I look at a person and choose to see darkness, I am left with no colors to paint their story in my heart. But when I choose to see the light within them, that light provides all the colors I need to create a beautiful word painting, a wonder for all who see it. If I desire my heart to smile as more than I crave gold, the choice is clear: I choose the light.
Celebrating the Light in Others
It's a curious thing, how often we overlook our own inherent radiance. We dim our own light, denying the goodness within us, as if trying to hide it under a veil. Yet, the more I embrace my own light, the more I see it reflected in the beautiful, unique hues of others. I yearn to celebrate those colors, to capture them in words and images, hoping to spark a smile of recognition on their faces.
Light's Sweet Allure
Light seems to always offer something more. It's as sweet as honey and provides the breathtaking beauty of a rainbow after the rain, both of which evoke smiles. We have the choice to either pass by a rose without a second thought or pause to appreciate its fragrance. Though I've often chosen the former, my heart yearns for the light in my life. I long to discover and embrace beauty, like the rare opportunity to stumble upon and savor the scent of a vibrant red rose. This desire, isn't it akin to the allure of the sweet honey crafted by bees in the trees?

The Beauty of Choosing Light's Expression
The truth is, not every rose is red, just as not all bees rely solely on clover to make their honey. Perhaps we need to see others as roses of various colors and honey made from the nectar of diverse flowers. Each individual possesses a unique light that projects beauty through their own distinct fragrance and sweetness. Darkness obscures this, but light reveals it with remarkable clarity. And then come those smiles, the smiles we realize are more precious than gold.
